The 'NJT Digital Records' software is an application, within a Microsoft Excel workbook, that provides an MTD compliant method to maintain business records in a digital format.
Both VAT Return vaules and Income Tax 'Quarterly Update' values can be exported digitally.
These values can then be imported into the respective 'NJT VAT Return Manager' or 'NJT Tax Return Manager' bridging software for submission to HMRC.
For information, HMRC defines 'Bridging software' as a product that provides an MTD compliant digital link between your accounting/bookkeeping software and the HMRC system.
This product contains a customised application developed in Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). The software runs automatically when the workbook is opened and interacts with the user by displaying various User Forms (Windows). The worksheets are not accessed in the traditional way and are therefore hidden from view.
